Welcome to the Boundary Card Game!

A long time ago, at the beginning of our open relationship, Paget and I made a thing on bits of papers to help us understand the boundaries we wanted for each other when it came to connecting with others, especially (but not exclusively) when it comes to activities that feel most special with others, including sexual engagements.

We called it The Boundary Card Game

For about 20 years, it lived as a Word document and eventually a Google Doc, and we would send it to people and clients who wanted to have the same conversation with their partners and lovers so they could discover what matters most for each partner and so they could find a way forward with care and consideration.

And now, it finally exists as a real physical thing, and it's been upgraded to help you design healthy rules and agreements to reflect the healthy boundaries, needs, pace, and desires you have for yourself and in your relationship so you can truly create considerate non-monogamous relationships, our new version of CNM.

If you've had a difficult time or have felt frustrated with having a conversation with a partner about what is okay or not okay for them when it comes to you connecting with others, or the other way around, this is a game changer.

Also if you're a therapist and would like to get a deck for yourself to possibly recommend as a tool for your clients, please let us know and we'll send you a deck free of charge.

We are super proud of this tool. It was a lot of work and we now have 500 of these decks to share with all of you.

This page will continue to contain more information about the boundary card game, so stay tuned!

FAQ:

Q: Is it good for monogamous people too?

A: Yes, you can use the cards to explore boundaries and design agreements between you and a partner. There are instructions on how to do this in the booklet.
