Govinda is the alter-ego of Austin based producer/composer Shane Madden. He began studying violin and composition at the age of eight and went on to study classical violin at the University of Texas where he fell in love with electronic music production. It was in Madden’s pursuit of his gypsy roots that he opened his ears to music from around the world. From experiences learning violin with mysterious masters on his journeys across the globe and his passion for modern design and technology, the current sound of Govinda was born.

Plantrae is an energetic and melodic sound experience originating deep in the rainforests of oregon. The Plantrae sound gathers many diverse elements together to form a neo-traditional earth inspired dance music. Dirty folk melodies, raw drum-skins and a substantial dripping bass root are all woven into one, with live viola improvisation fermenting everything together. Seeking to unite organic-acoustic instrumentation with contemporary bass music, Plantrae also encourages the listener to delve deep into the humyn ethos, back to a time when we lived as one with the earth.

The Portland-based artist saQi is a classically trained composer, producer and trumpet player. Drawing his name from the Sufi title for a mystic muse, saQi creates eclectic electronica that maintains a balance between organic and synthesized sound. His live sets rock the dance floor while maintaining a grace and musical depth to engage the listener. The music is never limited by genre, tempo or any other stylistic elements. Allegiance to the creative flow and its truest expression thereof is saQi’s manifesto.

Sol Rising's original soundscapes evoke feelings of bliss throughout an eclectic mix of hip-hop, funk, soul, reggae, and electronic dance beats. Born in Vancouver BC, Brandon began meditating at age four with a walking mantra technique. His mother took him to visit numerous spiritual teachers, who inspired him on the spiritual path he walks today. As a teenager, he became a hip hop fanatic. His rooted interest in hip hop led him to learning the art of scratching — using turntables as musical instruments. Sol Rising soon became one of America’s top scratch DJs, winning second place at the DMC, the world’s most prestigious DJ competition.

Zenotope is the experimental future bass musical project of producer Zaak Kerstetter. Zenotope teaches Ableton Live at Pyramind, a music production school located in San Francisco. Zenotope focuses on building diverse soundscapes that envelop the listener in a multilayered realm by interweaving elements of glitch, ambient, downtempo, and bass with doses of classical, sci-fi, and surrealist influences. When Zenotope creates, he channels musical concepts that immerse listeners in emotion. Founded in 2011, Zenotope has evolved to include a wide array of collaborators. In 2012, Zenotope released the 5-song debut album titled “Maisma,” which scales from avant-garde compositions to rhythmic-driven dance tracks.
